If you're like me, you might have a few accounts, sometimes with different currencies. Maybe even, some of them you haven't looked at for a while, like an old pension account open by your first employer a few years back? If that's the case, worth it is perfect for you, it will allow you to keep an eye on what you have, what you owe while keeping it up to date.
How does it work?
Well, It's quite simple, you just have to enter what you own (assets) like your bank accounts, a car or even your home at their current value. You should do the same with what you owe too (liabilities), like your credit card debt or a mortgage.
Worth it will prompt you when you need to update them and will help you keep an eye on your net worth. A simple step to financial stability.
I have used this app for a couple of years now and love it. I tried a few but nothing comes close to what I want. I track many accounts in various juristications and it seems to be the best at handling currencies, forex rates & PM’s etc. Its not loaded with ‘frills’ but does the job at tracking net worth.
However I would appreciate it if the developer could indicate the different types of dollars in the ‘current’ display(after the account is setup ie A$ vs US$). Because if you forget - after the intial setup - the symbol $ for the ‘current’ value can be confusing.
Some might think the above caveat should not warrant 5* but for a single developer to maintain this app for free is a 5 in my book. Recently I started to support the app with a annual donation because I think the developer should be encouraged.
New update
New app update doesn’t let you update values to your categories 🙃 makes the features a bit redundant if it doesn’t even do its main job
Great to track overall wealth
I love the simple design and functionality of this app. A great way to track multiple bank accounts, debts, assets, etc.
The one thing it’s missing is a more detailed graph. What’s the point of updating this app frequently if I get nothing from it. I’d love to be able to tap on the line graph and see how my savings are progressing over time. At the moment it’s not marked with dates so I can only see if it’s going up or down.
In saying this, would definitely recommend this app as an easy way to track your net worth.
