Writers Session

Meets my needs. I use this as my “go to” for capturing quick ideas and provides the required tools for further fleshing out said same ideas. I like it. I use it.

Crashes everytime when using unicode text. Pretty useless for me, and worst that I paid for upgrade.

So let me start off with saying this app works amazing minus a couple things that would really perfect the experience! My first couple lines are cut off almost as if they are hiding under the yellow top menu bar. (Not sure if this is just because it’s not optimized for the iphone 12 Pro Max yet). Secondly I can’t underline or make certain text books or italic. I would also love to be able to change the title of my recordings so I could have samples for certain parts of the song ex. Title one recording Chorus for a quick recording of just the chorus or verse fora quick Idea of the verse. Other than that this app is phenomenal for any tour of creative writing, not just music! Once those things are fixed for me I will 100% give this 5 stars!

Very cool app and nice upgrade option without needing subscription. Having an issue emailing audio recordings however airplay is working. Responsive devs.

I’ve been scanning for the right songwriting app for a while, and I just found it! Easy access from typing lyrics to recording multiple tracks. Great organization as well with folders. It functions in landscape (many don’t). I feel like the design could look sleeker, perhaps more enclosed than the word doc look (though the dark mode looks good), but has all the elements!

This is cool but I want to make my own song and it’s not really letting me do that I just got this and I’m ten years old but I need my dad to do this or help and I don’t like that other wis I love the set and it’s so easy to get started you guys thought this though so far great the tools r so easy to use and the set up is great love #songwriter

Sending songs to the app and it puts songs wherever it chooses. Song a went to song title b, song c added itself under song a lyrics… aggravating. And won’t transfer to other devices, you have to manually input to each device separately… not very useful at all

Hey, I just wanted to jump by and let you guys know that you’re doing a great job with this app. I’ve been using it for years and I love the simplicity of it. I had other songwriting apps, but they’ve all updated and changed and started being weird. So I wanna appreciate the fact that you guys are maintaining the app as is, without forcing everyone to upgrade to premiums and stuff.

I’m really enjoying this app and find it very useful writing songs. It’s exactly what I was looking for! I needed an app that I could read my lyrics while being able to record little snippets. I do wish it had the ability to mess with the font more, such as changing colors or using bold/italics/underline

I’d like to say I love this app because it is a good app. But to me the deal breaker is that it has no reliable syncing between devices and I have tried everything I could think of all devices are set up correctly to sync with writers session. But it just won’t sync. Well it syncs sometimes but that is very rare and cannot be reproduced. The developers seem to have given me the old standby it’s probably me and am I sure I have my system set correctly etc. brush off. I am so tired of this lame excuse. It’s your creation fix it. So let me know when if ever the sync is reliable and I will return with a glowing review.
