It would be a good app if it didn’t keep crashing without saving any data! Very disappointing. :(
The app is good, the only problem is that when you reach the critical number of wine tastings (in my case it was around 50h it crashes with all your tasting records saved in the app, and it’s impossible to restart it again. I lost the tasting notes from my 2 trips to Italy - very-very disappointing experience
Lack of editing is a problem, only being able to use WSET’s ‘approved’ list of grapes a joke. Yesterday I drank Clairette, today I drank Zibibbo, according to WSET these varietals don’t exist and I can’t add them. No wonder WSET is becoming increasingly irrelevant.
Do you intend to update the app for people that would like to study level 3 & 4. I am just at level 2 so the app at the moment is amazing but would love it with the added features that level 3 & 4 will have. Keep up the great work.
The app has its uses although I can’t see myself using it for long without the option of editing notes i have made, as with other reputable wine apps. Additionally, perhaps allow the option of a full photo view when clicking the ‘photo’ thumbnail so that one can refer to the full wine bottle label uploaded. I have found it useful during my WSET courses, but look forward to future updates to make it more user friendly I have registered to use the app but I am not sure if that means my notes are stored on the cloud / viewable on other devices? If not .. this could be another welcome addition With thanks
Very good app and supports the learning from the WSET level 2. What would be nice would be to be able to save the tastings online so could transfer to new device etc.
The format works well, it helps you remember what to assess, providing prompts. It’s great you can add a photo. It would be even better if it included a WSET 3 version, and you could edit notes after!
This app is really handy to create and store my tasting notes. So easy to use too.
