WSPR watch

I have been using WSPR Watch since its beginning and was a beta tester until Apple’s advances in their IOS went beyond my budget for new machines. Peter’s product is nothing short of perfection, support for a free product is beyond any expectations. I am now using a QRP-Labs U4B @ 20mW (yes 20mW) to study my antenna builds and propagation in general. The responses from Peter to my questions or problems were only delayed due to the time distance from USA to Australia. Fantastic program.

WSPRnet API hasn’t worked for a few weeks now. Just curious if that data server is no longer available? I’ve been using just WSPRnet (not API). Love the app though! Daily use here and very thankful to have it! 6/18/1024 - still not getting any data from WSPRnet API. Now for the past couple of days, I’m getting nothing from WSPRnet itself for this app. I see my spots on my PC browser, but not in this app. I miss having this data available.

I love using this app opposed to the PSKReporter website. It’s faster, not as clunky, and more convenient to use as it remembers your Callsign. I reached out to the developer when I couldn’t filter my signal strength doing FT8 and he realized the gap and put in a fix within a week. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised! Now I can track my hotspots, which isn’t even a feature I have found on PSKReporter. Can’t remember if I paid for this app or not, but it’s certainly worth some $$.

The main website has definitely got some issues related to the Google maps API. Even when I added an API key that was issued to me, it’s still did not work correctly. This implementation uses Apple maps and loads perfectly. I typically load this on my iPad when I’m testing an antenna, or just checking propagation in general. I highly recommend trying this app.

Last version (0ct 2022). Spot Info is jumbled in Portrait mode. Ok in Landscape. iPhone 13 mini and 13 standard. This bug appeared after adding new info.
