I downloaded this to use as a map at a conference, and couldn’t even find Lighty with it. Ended up using the Maps app.
“Open to read” and then you can’t exit to continue :) It doesn’t work much better either.
love cougars, both versions
I would never use this app if I didn’t have to attest before going to any location on campus. Often, the attestation section of the page fails and the only way I’ve found to resolve this issue is to delete and redownload the app. This is tedious and it makes me mad that I have to do this constantly.
This app still makes you sign into “my WSU” every single time. With an Okta 2FA push every single time as well. Don’t worry though, it will use your iPhone‘s touchID just to open the app. Then it will prompt you again to sign in. And then it will text your phone and double check it was you. Every. Single. Time. It’s not a bug, it’s just a useless phone app. The myWSU app is literally just your phone’s browser with a different icon. I guess it’s not totally useless, in that it’s like a bookmark in your phones web browser. Except it takes up a lot more space and requires 10 more taps to do the same thing.
Love it!
I can’t believe I’m going out of my way to write about how bad this app is. There are so many bugs that haven’t been addressed after a year of using it. Now COVID19 and I have to log into the app everyday which will take me about 10 min or at least logging in 3-4 times. Do better.
Go cougs!
The app doesn’t work how it says it will. It’s supposed to act like a hub where when you click on a tile it’ll open the other WSU related apps (would be a lot more steez if it was all within the app). However, even with the apps downloaded, it tells you that you don’t have them downloaded and proceeds to take you to the App Store to download them. Once there, the App Store confirms that you do in fact have them downloaded. So you may want to consider fixing that. Gave it a star because it looks nice, and I couldn’t give it no stars.
