X AIR allows you to control the mixing, processing and effects functions of BEHRINGER's X18, XR18, XR16, & XR12 Digital Mixers right from your iPad®.
X AIR Version 1.5 delivers simple and advanced control features for the X18, XR18, XR16 & XR12 consoles. The user interface is providing access to mixing 18 input channels to 12 buses and editing 4 internal stereo effects processors, with highest professional audio quality, yet hiding away most of the underlying complexity. Switching to 'Advanced' mode offers full access to many more parameters of Sends, Gate and Compressor sections, when needed. You may also use the application in demo mode for offline show preparation, when no mixer is available.

Need an update
Works great
So it looks like they have fixed the app. Used it this week with an older iPad and our newest 17.4 version. It seems to work perfectly for us on both iPads. I hope everyone who has this good experience will post an update. I highly recommend this app and the X 18 mixer.
They fixed it
The app IS working again. So go for it.
Another dead app
Since moving to an iPad mini and iPad OS, several apps have died — crash on startup. This appears to be one. Update: It’s coming up sometimes now. Haven’t yet managed to connect. There’s hope.
Working Smoothly Now
All functions are now working on my iPad Pro so I have to move this from 2 stars to 5 stars. However it no longer works on my Samsung Galaxy after the last Android update. Please fix for Android because that was the only way to save my settings because iPad version doesn’t have a save scene function.
Update 11/7/23
Right now the app seems to be working fine without it freezing or quitting randomly. I can’t say to use this anymore for gigs. Only for simple things like speech.

Came here to say THEY FINALLY DID IT! It’s working again. What a relief!!!!
HALLELUJAH WE HAVE AN UPDATE
After 3 years, we finally got what we deserve: An app update to fix its issues. It’s ridiculous that it took this long, but the app is FINALLY useable again. Still not going to give it more than 2 stars because the support has been horrible- It’s ridiculous that this app was unusable for almost 2 of those 3 years since the last batch of updates and Behringer did NOTHING about it. The whole reason I purchased my XR18 was because of how practical it is using it with my iPad. This is the app Behringer hand picks and We SHOULD NOT have to purchase a different app to use the mixer. At the very least, the app dev needs to be ON TOP of these kind of issues as soon as they develop.
