Xeela Fitness Reviews

Account gone?

Saraahjoyy on

Ever since the app update, it won’t let me login and says I don’t have an account, but I’ve been a subscriber for 6ish months. I joined because of the Xeela Transformation Challenge, but there wasn’t ever an update or place to submit final photos. The app is good in the sense of the workouts are easy to follow, but I feel like I’ve been scammed in a sense with the contest and my account being deactivated after the update. I’ve tried reaching out via Instagram and email, but never heard a response. Oh well.

Using this app for an entire year now

I use this app every single day. I’m down 10 pounds and in the best shape of my life. The reason I like it because it’s so straightforward and the workout videos are so easy to follow the difference I’ve seen in my body and lifestyle. Incredible.

Can’t see future meals or exercises

How can you buy your food for your meals when you can’t see the meal plan until the day of? They need to fix this ASAP. I’m not going to be going to the grocery store every day just to buy food for three meals a day. It just doesn’t make sense people love to meal prep. This should be basic knowledge when creating an exercise app that includes a diet plan. Also, you can’t view the workouts for the week that’s another thing that I like to have planned out so I know what body part I’m going to be hitting that day beforehand.

I love it

Super easy to use. wish i can swap out apps and not have my session reset but the overall i love it and i've been seeing results. to the nay sayers, i've seen more results using this app than any other typical plans.

Not worth it…

I wanted to like this app and tried it out for a month…there’s a lot of room for improvement and I wouldn’t spend the money. The app doesn’t allow for any flexibility of moving workouts around. It won’t show you what weights you’ve recorded in the past. The nutrition section doesn’t have all food logs making it more time consuming to fill out. If you are looking for apps similar to this one but with more workouts and flexibility, better weight tracking, and easier food logs I would recommend the Alive App and the MacroFactor app. Theses two apps are WORTH your money and have great features.

Love this app! I have paid a lot more for an app like this with it having a fitness and nutrition plan designed for your goals. The only two things I didn’t like about it was that I was unable to see future workouts and to be able to do the workouts early or on different days if you need to rearrange your week, but with the latest update both of those things are now available. Definitely will be using this into the foreseeable future for my workouts!

Bugs

Ash10120 on

United States

I love the app, I use it 5 days a week, but there are some bugs that need to be fixed. I’ll complete a workout and check it off the calendar, then the next day it tells me I didn’t complete the workout. My calendar is also stuck in July for some reason.

App Bugs that make user experience irritating so annoying

FAUSTADR000 on

I like the app, it does a really good job of providing you with exercises and helping you meet your goals. The really annoying features about this app… - Workout incomplete bug - When finished with your workout for the day at times the app doesn’t record that you completed your workout. Then the next day it will say “Didn’t complete” although I did and ensured on clicking “Complete workout”. - Weight entry issues - At times the app will suggest to add quarter weights for an example 17.5. When you go in and enter the weight used it does not allow you to enter quarter numbers. - plank reps - when doing planks it tells you to do 20 reps but what does that mean? - 20 seconds?

Price point is really high for what you get at the moment.

I had a few issues, they are a big deal because of the price point. 1. The workouts don’t track, I worked out every day for 2 weeks straight and when I went to access my workouts and I only had 5. I was diligent about making sure I finished and added progress pictures… etc… 2. You can’t leave the app at all or else you lose all progress, for $25 a month you would think I could back out and send a text during my workout without the app erasing all my progress for the workout. Could definitely be more user friendly. 3. Repetitive workouts, I only used for 2 weeks so maybe they change eventually but doing the exact same workouts gets pretty old. Maybe it’s geared towards people that have never been in the gym before. Maybe they should offer than plan as well, because doing the same exact workouts every day for 2 weeks was already old. That’s how you burn people out in the gym imo. Could be wrong here though. 4. I didn’t use the meal tracker much, it seemed to work really well. I eat very healthy and didn’t feel like messing with it. The meals look great though. Definitely a plus with the calorie tracker as well. 5. The weight tracker is not user friendly, it doesn’t specify if you should double the weight or input how much you do each dumbbell. Yes, being specific here matters. Am I doing 25 pound for dumbbell curls or 50. I love seeing the stats so knowing this would have helped with being accurate. 6. Loading… I could be on 4 bars with full connection on other apps but it would just sit on the first screen of Ilya holding the bottle for minutes at a time. I tried on WiFi, Data, etc… would use the same WiFi the next day and the app would load immediately. This could be user friendly as well, at least have a loading bar or something so I know it’s not just frozen. 6. For the price point it’s not worth it right now. If they fix a few things I could see this being the premier workout app. I have followed for a while so I know the team has the best intentions in mind. Just wish it worked a bit better for me. Would love to try it again in the future, the minimalistic and simple screens make it nice and simple. Just a few big things that for the price point are not worth it for ME right now. Only leaving this review because I would love for the small things to be fixed and would like to return because I do like the app. A bit of bug fixes and some creativity in the workouts would get me back.

Needs to be free

Why would I have to pay to get recommended food intakes and calories from a professional, it should be free not everyone has money but most people need help with losing weight or even getting shredded so I think that they should make the app free so people can figure out how to lose weight in a healthy manner
