I have not found a better app so far!

Aplikace se chová jako falešný hráč - zcela očividně si háže kostky tak jak se ji to hodí. Pokud by v ní fungoval generátor hodů kostek - nezávislý na tom jak se hra právě vyvíjí a v čí prospěch, pak by to podle mě mohla být skvělá aplikace Backgammonu. Prozatím ji nemohu doporučit, protože má člověk pocit, že hraje s bohapustým podvodníkem. Co se týče nápovědy, pomohla mi uvolnit se v obavách co se vyhazování týče a někdy je docela fajn nechat si od ní poradit, ale došel jsem k pocitu, že pokud hraju sám za sebe, hraju líp. Největší problém je zjevná schválnost hodů kostkama ze strany počítače, který byl k tomu naprogramován. Pokud se nechcete cítit jako blbec, tak vám tuto aplikaci nedoporučuji, ačkoliv ve všech ostatních směrech je podle mě skvělá. Člověk si při ní připadá jako v demoracii západní společnosti : všichni jsme si rovni, ale někteří jsme si rovnější.

Best backgammon for iOS. But on iPad Air iOS 9 not working. Please fix it. Thank you.

This app could be great. It helps a lot with learning how to play however the app is clunky and sometimes hard to navigate. Also when you select higher level opponents their level of play doesn’t get better, they just get more lucky. Update: Their dice have taken a turn. All of a sudden the computer getting a lot more lucky. Terrible game don’t pay for it. Like the headline says could be good but decide to rig the dye.

The app freezes regularly on my iPad. I then have to delete and then reinstall the app. Frustrating!

This is a tough review. I gave it three stars because, yes, it is the best backgammon engine in the world. Unfortunately, the interface is very very bad. The board is very small and the pieces don't move realistically. It is hard to see what is going When the computer moves. Instead of having all of the options shown on the Board, making a drop-down arrow for your options, therefore expanding the size of the board, would be a lot better option. I'd recommend looking at the game, "backgammon NJ HD" notice how they have a very smooth checker play experience. Unfortunately with backgammon nj, they are only using the snowy engine. If these two companies worked together and used the extreme gammon engine with the backgammon NJ layout, this would be the best game in the world!

The game freezes on IPhone. Can’t play. I looked at the reviews again and noticed that the positive reviews are old 5 to 6 years ago). I believe the app has not been updated to work on the newer operating system updates.

Started out as the best bg mobile app, using the professional Xtreme Gammon engine. It’s still strong, but zero new features in nearly ten years and many new bugs like dice that don’t appear, hangs etc. Too bad. Needs a refresh badly!! I no longer recommend it.

I called Apple and worked with their technology support professionals for almost 2 hours. I have been playing this game for years. Loved it. A couple of months ago it started freezing up after 1-3 games on my IPad Pro. I would have to delete app.and redownload to play. I paid about $10. Dollars to upgrade app. So I didn’t lose too much. However the consensus here is that the app. NEEDS an upgrade. Where is the developer here? The company or some programmer needs to fix this or remove from App Store. You can’t charge customers money for something that doesn’t work. Where is the professionalism, the pride in quality products. If you have an Apple IPad or IPad Pro stay away until someone with a moral compass fixes this travesty. I will call the company tomorrow and see what they say. If this isn’t fixed by 2025 I will lobby Apple along with a LOT of friends to remove it.

Hangs up on latest iOS on new iphone 16s at surrender..loved it on my iPhone 13.. hope to see the fix soon
