XGimp is an adaptation for iPhone and iPad of the app GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation), which is a freely distributed program for tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. As a result of that, the app XGimp provides many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, image editor, an expert quality photo retouching program, an image renderer, or an image format converter.

XGimp is the app GIMP that runs remotely, so it has the same features:

- Suite of painting tools including Brush, Pencil, Airbrush, Clone, etc.
- Image editor.
- Sub-pixel sampling for all paint tools for high quality anti-aliasing.
- Extremely powerful gradient editor and blend tool.
- Supports custom brushes and patterns.
- Full alpha channel support.
- Layers and channels.
- Multiple Undo/Redo.
- Editable text layers.
- Transformation tools including rotate, scale, shear and flip.

- The length of the subscription is 1 month
- The price of the subscription is $0.99
- The subscription will be auto-renewed every month so that you can continue enjoying the app without ads.
- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase

Not as advertised

This app is falsely advertised. It is not gimp in the slighted and is a shame. Do not download and pay for it, it is nothing like its previews.

This is useless. I’m so pleased it’s not just me!

Useless!

I only gave one star as it won’t let me have no stars. Can’t open a photo in the app! Waste of time and effort.

Useless App

As other people have said this app is frustrating and extremely disappointing as you can’t even import an image to edit!?! I was subscribing for an ad free experience, but all things considered that is not going to continue because this app is sadly a complete waste of space and money! Apple please do your customers a favour, and remove this crappy excuse for an app from the App Store ASAP.

This is awful!

I loved GIMP on my laptop so was excited to see this for my iPad. It is horrendous. I could not even work out how to bring in an image. Messed around for about 5 minutes then deleted it! Don’t waste your time

Not a real app

Unusable. The ads pop up in weird places so you end up clicking on them. I think this is just a way for the creators to generate money. Don't bother.

Not intuitive at all

Cluttered layout, invasive ads which pop up when you're about to click anything, very little help/tutorial to teach newcomers how to use it.

My deaf and blind turtle passed away two days ago and this app didn’t make me feel better 😭😭…..😡😡😡 (he kinda deserved it, HE BIT MY FINGER!!! I though he was vegan!!!!!😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬) RRRRR HE DIDNT HELP MY GRANDPA THAT HAD SCOLIOSIS AND BOWEL CANCER 🔥 .. 🐢
