XING Reviews

Terrible

DinkyDani1 on

United Kingdom

Absolutely rubbish. Be prepared to get harassing messages with no way to block or stop the messages. And xing take absolutely no action themselves against it. I will be deleting my profile because there are many better options for job hunting.

Hi can you tell me where to change the app language

Caution

Really poor customer support

Doesn’t fulfil the basic

arabaouni on

United Kingdom

I have installed the app in my iPhone 7 with the latest iOs on and i am not able to add new contacts when i receive a contract request. I contacted the customer service and the told me to uninstall and install the latest version which is stupid because the updates of all apps run automatically, when there is one. So because the app doesn’t not work on mobile devices properly i decided to delete it and use the webapp instead.

Not user friendly for recruiters!!!

Real Estate Headhunter on

United Kingdom

On XING it is not possible to send to messages to more people at the same in a project as on LinkedIn. It’s just time consuming. XING will never reach the level of LinkedIn. Please people register on LinkedIn if you want to be headhunted for roles.

Xing is taking your money if you don’t watch out!

Swocc on

United Kingdom

I took a premium account for one year and they automatically renewed my subscription without notifying me within the due date. I contacted them to explain that I don’t want to continue my subscription but they weren’t reasonable at all and still are forcing me to pay via a debt collector!

The worst user interface

SDK Manager on

United Kingdom

I must admit. I struggle with XING as a professional networking platform but the recent update on the app user interface is not working out. It’s too confusing to navigate the app with in app notifications in two different places. Als the horizontal scrolling is navigation even more complex. I have said it so many time if you want to improve, take a look at the world biggest professional net working platform. I am sure you would see more user engagement.

Keeps opening Safari

J. Schmid on

United Kingdom

It just keeps opening Safari to load their tracking pixel. Can’t actually use the app at all.

Rubbish.

your mum on

United Kingdom

Nothing works properly on this App. Every action is answered with "failed to connect " or "message sending failed". What is the point of this App??! If you can't actually contact anyone, there's no point at all! Seriously...don't waste your time with this. Maybe the developers should get a bunch of brain damaged chimps to do a better job on it. If I could give it zero stars, I would. But I can't post this without one star, so ignore it.

Terrible

The worst customer service experience I have ever had. No compassion, flexibility or understanding of modern technology and the real world. Thank goodness for LinkedIn!
