X/S Connect

We installed a bunch of ultimaX5000 CO sensors. At first some of us could connect using the app then it just stopped working. Even on sensors that we had already connected to, it just didn’t work. The units haven’t had any update and the app hadn’t been updated before we tried again. We then updated the app and still had no luck. Apparently the app is supposed to be updated again but I doubt that it’s going to be any good. Also, the infrared buttons on the units are horrible. Infrared buttons on any instrument are garbage.

Works as intended, but need to keep eye on the app while using otherwise will shut down and therefore disconnect from device. Really annoying

I’m sure this app works great when used with the intended device. Anyone that’s upset it doesn’t work with their Altair series device.... you need to read more. It doesn’t work with the Altair because it’s NOT FOR the Altair!! The Altair connect app is only available on AndroidOS.

This app won’t work on IPhone 11 max pro IOS. I downloaded the app and it won’t connect or detect any available MSA Altair 4xr gas detectors. Is there a patch or update for this app for IPhone?
