My flash stopped working properly. I can not access all videos or pictures that I transferred to my YDISK USB flash drive. How do I solve this please need

The flash drive was purchased to remove and store pictures from my phone. It worked long enough to transfer the pictures from my phone. But when I tried to connect to my devices to look at the pictures and add more to the flash drive it only gives me a message that the usb has not been inserted. I’m very upset by this because I had a lot of pictures of my mom who has passed away. The pictures were removed from my phone and now I can’t access them on any of my devices. Now I have no pictures from the last few years of my moms life. This is a waste of money and memories!
Okay one, great idea but horrible execution. Backed up all my photos & videos and now it won’t even let me save, watch, or click what I saved. Saw a feedback button & decided to reach out about my problem but no “Error with the connection server” pops up? It’s like the app is cheaply made or something. Nothing will load and that is pissing me off. Somebody need to reach out to me or fix this. Thanks. I only gave 5 stars so some one will see this. It’s giving more like -5 stars:(
So far I’m not impressed. About 80% of the time ( a generous estimate) the app doesn’t read the drive on my iPhone 14 plugged directly into lightning port. I’m tried numerous things such as closing app and reopening, selecting “us “ v “internal” and vice versa, removing drive / re-inserting. Nothing seems to reliably work. Better to use it with my usb to lightning adapter. So much for the convenience of both us. And lightning ports built in. I’d rather use regular small usb thumbs with adapter. At least they are read easily and operate in a familiar Apple fashion.
