WRONG APP

Maxlife07 on

United States

If you have a newer Yale product you have to use “Yale Access” not this one. I was doing it and was about to rip my hair out. I called customer support and was guided to the other one. This app as garbage so it stays with one star and take should make it clear if they want to have like 14 apps.

Awful

Justinw39 on

This app is so bad. It’s clunky and has trouble connecting to my locks. I eventually said screw it and bought new Wi-Fi models to replace the iM1 models I used with this app and HomeKit. The new modules will bring your locks into the new Yale access app which is a much better app. I think they have up on this one. It also deletes your Apple Home if you are not careful. I had to re-add 33 devices the hard way….

Don’t Ever Buy Yale!!!!

This app is utterly ineffective, as is any provided customer support. The network module was defective on installation. Customer service refused replacement, and will waste hours of your life walking through prepared (and ineffective) troubleshooting scripts. Be warned there is no escalation!!! You can only get a front line person who has no ability to do anything other than read installation scripts.

Pure regret

Why did I spend $300 on this? The app is buggy, hard to use, and pure frustration. Shame on you, Yale.

Now works!

For a long time, like many others, this app would crap out and give an error message. Basically it no longer functioned. With this current version, all is back to where it should be. I can read, add, remove PIN codes. I can access the unit settings. Thanks for making this right app developers!

Terrible system

tvigo84 on

The worst app and system. I’m unable to use it since two months. I called and they said they’re aware of the unable to communicate the lock and the app but no solution provided because they can’t fix it. Don’t buy Yale!

Yale must be latin for garbage. This app just does not work.

IOS16 Killed the app

Ank215 on

App no long works with lock from iOS16 update, no longer change PIN codes or do anything.

App won’t work, support can’t help either

GabrielRSRocha on

United States

Lock works fine mechanically and in the HomeKit app, however when I go in this app to try to fine tune the settings it simply won’t work. I can only change settings directly on the lock. Nothing works! And now they’re telling me they’re no longer updating the app! This lock is BRAND NEW! I can’t believe this.
