Latest update again deletes all existing User reminders. This is the second time an update has deleted custom reminders. This latest version is also bloated and cumbersome, robbed of its previous elegant simplicity, and now entirely over-engineered. Insert sad face here. Original review: Simple straightforward interface, not cluttered and weighed down by pref settings. Greatly appreciate the apparent lack of restriction on the number of characters/words assigned to each reminder/message. Does exactly what it says and delivers effortlessly, a seeming rarity in apps today. Five stars if the limitation on the number of reminder notifications was removed or increased beyond the current minimum set by the Developer. Thank you for this app.

I’ve been using this app for years and loved its simple interface. It’s super effective at random reminders. Just great! But now it’s gone and updated and added new features that I don’t need—which is probably fine for someone else—and in the process it DELETED ALL THE REMINDERS. What?!? There was no warning, no way to save them, no nothing! They probably would have run forever if I hadn’t made the mistake of opening the app, but as soon as you do, it pops up this friendly little walkthrough screen that hides the fact that it’s just trashed your reminders! You don’t realize it until you’re asked to set your *first* reminder and are presented with a blank screen…and then the penny drops. It’s all gone. You have to create it all from scratch. Hope you remember what you had in there, because there’s no way to get it back! And I have to say that the new features are really confusing compared to the simplicity of the old layout. All I want are the random reminders. That’s all I ever needed. Don’t confuse me with this other stuff. I hope you won’t ever trash your users’ data like this again. Once is too many times already.

This was previously a simple 5 star app. While I appreciate the need to monetize hard work and ongoing support and maintenance, I feel like the extra features don’t deserve the current yearly pricing. Also, there is no buy once option.

There should be a permanent upgrade option, and MUCH cheaper.

I’ve been loving, using, and recommending this app to folks for a few years now. Quotes that are meaningful to me, and useful reminders to stay centered in my daily living. Unfortunately, after an automatic upgrade to the current version, all of my old quotes disappeared. Is there any way to recover them? Appreciate the work you’ve done.

This app is so great, I've been using it for years. There were a few key features missing. The ability to slide a reminder on/off is key. That was one main feature that was needed and you nailed it. The other thing that I think can be improved is increasing the number of reminders per day. I'd like to be able to set that to whatever number I'd like. It should be customizable, I want to be reminded MANY things MANY times a day! If you increased that from 9 (or 12), I'd gladly pay for this app. Keep up the great work. Great update!

Apparently the developers didn’t test the update on phones with smaller screens. After the update, I can’t use Yapp at all because critical buttons are offscreen. So I’m just stuck. Can’t use Yapp at all. Guess it’s getting deleted and I have to go look for another reminder app.

On iOS18, the app often gets stuck thinking and does nothing. I actually haven’t been able to use the reminders at all. Hopefully will get fixed with a new patch!

Great app that doesn’t collect data and allows you to choose reminders to be randomly sent throughout the day with a soothing alert tone.
