I can’t remove the review so I’ll just edit it. Things are working again two days later.
The app is extremely bad. I can't use the key board to type my wifi cause it keeps launching the settings page. Returning from settings page doesn't do anything as the screen will be locked on the page. I bypassed the keyboard bug by using iPhone saved passwords. But the connecting to the bulb is still impossible as the app will get stuck on the "go to settings page". I highly recommend everyone not to buy any yeelight products. They are good products bricked by lousy app. My lightbulb is now useless cause of this and there is nothing I can do. My mistake for buying a yeelight product I guess...
On iPhones with the island it is no possible to click on the top right setting button.
I only managed to set up 1 of my 3 Yeelight bulbs. The other 2 just refuse to connect to the network.
All my devices are gone as soon as I realised it doesn’t work with google assistant anymore. Then I unlink just to set up devices again then tried to link the yeelight to google home and not able to link anymore. Pls update and fix it
This app barely gets the job done, but it hasn’t seen any significant upgrades in years. Dark mode still isn’t supported.. bulb pairing doesn’t always work.. it’s pathetic to be honest.
Rubbish totally device not responding, DONT ASK ME WHICH DEVICE I HAVE, I HAVE ALL UR RUBBISH PRODCUT AND ALL NOT RESPONDING PROPERLY, NOT RECOMMENDED PRODUCT AT ALL.
Can’t even go past the server selection for the device installation!
All the lights have 90% chance showing “no response”, all my scheduled scenes with automation on/off are being malfunction, smart devices become stupid devices, what a scam????
I can turn on and off, change colour etc. but cannot add to Home app. In fact all the menu functions don't work. They don't even respond to touch.
