How to use it :
・Select and trim the image and save it.
・Set an image saved from the Photos app as the wallpaper. (Perspective Effect: Off)
・Add widgets from the home screen.
・Press and hold the widget and set the position by "Edit Widget".

It’s clunky but amazing

This is one my favourite apps, hands down. Could be a bit more neat, though. Then would be perfect.

Doesn’t work.

Followed instructions multiple times. It does not show in the list of widgets that can be added to the homescreen.

Not really blank

All the widgets have a - or a . under them which ruins the aesthetic of the widget and means that it’s not really clear or blank. Even the pro version at 2.99 does not come with completely blank spaces which is really annoying. I ended up looking for any app that has a completely blank widget and the only one I could find is ‘Clear Spaces’ could the developer maybe work on getting clear widgets like them?

Only small & icon widgets appear

After you create the background wallpapers. You are meant to get large, medium, small, icons and dock widgets. Well you only get small, icon and dock. The large and medium are no where to be found and you can not select those options

Fantastic app with an almost invisible name! Perfect for home screens!

Ever since iOS16 dropped, I’ve been looking for widget apps that offer little to no text under the pictures. Yidget provides exactly that! It even went from - to . as the name so it looks even cleaner on your home page, it’s practically invisible. The app store may never implement a way to have widgets without the title underneath so Yidget provides the best alternative I could find and I literally couldn’t be happier with the service. The free version allows 3 widget boxes, which is fantastic already but Pro allows you to have unlimited! Pro is super cheap too and I will be buying it in the future! If you’re looking for a clean and super user friendly widget app to use for photos, please download Yidget!!

Pros and cons

Mostly comparable to other similar apps with 2 exceptions: Pro: the app allows you to store numerous wallpapers at a time Con: the app’s name appears as “_” and so when the widget is placed on the Home Screen, a noticeable white line appears below the clear widget

Stupid dash at bottom of widget

If it didn’t have the annoying dash it would be the best app by miles

The rename of the app to a dash has made said dash visible on home screen, hopefully changed soon

Recent issue

Has been really and free ! However recently the name of the app has gone from nothing to - ,meaning that every widget panel is now labelled as such .. not sexy .. Hope this will be fixed in a future update (?)
