All the bells no whistles! Great
I was singing the praises of this app a year ago, but I’m disappointed now. It’s no longer working reliably (the sounds fail to occur about half the time), and the developer’s app support link and website are both expired. I have no way to contact anyone about my problems — despite being on a subscription plan. Needless to say, I’ll be canceling the subscription plan shortly. Why is it so hard to find a well-made yoga app for personal practice that is being maintained? Ugh. Glowing review from a year ago below. - - - This app is the best iOS yoga timer available. There’s really nothing that comes close to it. All yoga timers seem to fall into one of two categories: either (1) they’re terribly designed and amateurish to the point of being unusable; or (2) they’re part of an expensive subscription that has all sorts of bells and whistles, like video yoga classes, that I don’t want. By contrast, Namaste is clean, smart, and simple — without being too simple. It’s excellent software. I was reluctant to pay for the $10 annual subscription, but I’m glad I did. That’s a reasonable price to support high-quality software that I use regularly.
This app is easy to use, as promised! The developer, Bart, is super responsive. I had a question, and he responded within hours, on a Saturday no less, with detailed instructions and screen shots. A lovely addition to my yin practice.
