Why this app deserves 1 star
With the Yolo Pro subscription you can browse unlimited profiles, but you can only send 5 messages a month. People are being mislead into thinking they’re buying a premium plan, with very limited functionality. The app is useless if you can browse people, but you can’t message them. For reference, 12 extra chats costs ‘only’ €20. With the monthly subscription that’s already priced high compared to other apps, plus extra in-app purchases, this app gets very expensive. The logic goes like this: other users don’t want to spend extra money either, so they’re also limited to initiating 5 chats. You can’t message them and they can’t message you even if you’re a match, which leads to a very empty inbox.
