I don’t like the new logo
It’s good but needs a lot more songs that aren’t premium
I am a complete guitar beginner and they taught me a lot within the first few minutes of having this app. I downloaded this app with low expectations and i thought this app was going to be horrible but I was mistaken. This app is incredible!
It told me to tune my guitar, I did. And I was tuning the right string, it made me pop a guitar string, I do not recommend if you are new to guitar, maybe search up some tutorials or get some lessons for acoustic guitar m, because I’m not using this app ever again
The only thing that is free about this app is that you get to be interrupted every 10, 15, or 20 seconds with advertisements. When you are actively tuning, be ready to toss that instrument aside so you can tap “No Thanks”. Get ready to do it again in about 10 to 15 seconds later. So who knows if this app is actually accurate because you don’t even get to really try it. So a big “No Thanks”.
I’m completely and utterly sick of having to play the same thing over and over just because the app decides it doesn’t want to hear my notes and on top of it sometimes it just decides it wants me to play off tempo. I have to play with absolutely no sound otherwise it’ll cancel out my guitar and just not hear it. On top of that I will be getting the “perfect” over and over for my tempo yet it’ll just decide not to hear half my notes. Playing them just fine, I have 0 idea why this app has such a hard time picking up notes sometimes though. Really really annoying when I try and get hold stars on everything before moving on. Absolutely obscure actually.
Extremely useful in terms of teaching how to play, however all of the sudden when the app was updated premium+ was added. Nearly every single song is locked unless you get the subscription for a yearly $139. Disappointing.
I was in the basic section, trying to play I see fire by ed Sheeran. I was playing the right chords but it was not registering that I was. But other than that, pretty good
Honestly as a younger guitarist who is newer to the guitar, I thought this would be a nice app to download to help me gain at this new interest, well I downloaded the app and I’m at lvl 2 right now, there is such an awesome amount of good songs to pick from, but the BIGGEST DOWN SIDE is that I would have to pay $140 in total for a year!!! Which is completely and totally absurd, I don’t even think an adult would want to pay that much just to play the guitar!and I’m not making my parents spend even more on me than they already do! I genuinely just want to find a app where it helps me learn the guitar without being so money hungry!!
