Piano by Yousician

I personally like the App very much. It is awesome, with nice UI, great response times, you can connect a MIDI device and use it for playing just fine. It is highly enjoyable to use, although it is a pity that the free tier of the app will last for just a few days and there’s not much to come back to. I get the business side of things, although I absolutely wouldn’t mind to have the option of an account with a daily time limitation, or ads after each lesson. I believe that it would be a great addition to the app, even though that for example things like playing modern pop songs wouldn’t be included in the free tier. Yousician is like Duolingo for music and for them it works just fine. Even competitors like Melodics have the free tier option done better, even though 5 minutes time restriction is super short.

To me it’s a unique blend of traditional learning with a (virtual) tutor and montessori having fun. I find lessons engaging enough to keep up on my regular activity. Songs available are eother training one, traditional, even some of the newest and classic hits. The app certainly is not flawless (nothing actually is), so the video steps of the content are oftentimes confusing to me, but the overall feeling is excellent and keeping me on track towards my goals. Thank you.

This application may teach someone to play piano perfectly. I do not know whether this is true or not. However my daughter was just following the notes on the display and pressing the keyboard nervously. She lost all the fun learning new things. I have told her to close this app and return back to the songs she has to practice that she got from her teacher. Now she has fun again, while she stopped following the display on the iPad.

Great app, but it does not have a new songs. Small library of music.

I didn’t have money in my account so I used this, even without the subscription it still teaches you everything you need to learn SO MUCH BETTER THAN SIMPLY PIANO

So I been using this app for like almost a week and I have been enjoying it because it helps me learn how to play the piano but sometimes some of the songs are hard when like a starter but I have getting better each day and so I gave this app five

Honestly, I thought I could trust you. I got this app, tested it out to see if it was free, and was like, “Oh, maybe I can learn piano after all. Maybe there are some people in the world that think of others that aren’t themselves.” But then, right after left hand essentials, I have to pay for all lessons after left hand positions. People like you are disgusting and greedy people. I thought you had some empathy, but it turns out I was wrong. We need more good people in this world. But it turns out we might never get that, all thanks to greedy people like you, trying to trick helpless little souls into thinking that your stupid app is free. 💔❤️‍🩹🌎😔🤥

I’ve been playing piano for half a year in total, and I started using this app and honestly how fast do you expect us to put our hands back to position SO FAST. You have to touch the screen to stop and pause and with two hands and changing positions you can’t go back to position fast enough thus having to restart the song. Pls fix this by giving a countdown feature after you unpause. Pls

So fun learning the piano with this app!!

I wish they would bring back practice mode for all of their songs. I feel as if I’m not able to learn in an efficient manner.
