Review for overseas customers
This app appears to work well for locals however there is a very big catch for foreigners. Rather than take your pick up point and destination as you write them - eg Hotel X to Hotel Y - the app converts these locations to the local unintelligible post code / latitude and longitude coordinates. A consequence of this is that drivers always call the mobile phone of the person booking to confirm pick up location - even if you send them a message telling them. Due to the exorbitant roaming prices in Ethiopia no foreigner should allow data roaming, and therefore your phone will not receive these calls. I attempted 20 different pick ups 19 cancelled and only 1 turned up because he was round the corner anyway. Only attempt to use this app if you are receiving phone calls, or have purchased a local SIM card with Voice and Data - because the use of coordinates rather than actual locations mean that the drivers have no option but to call you.
