Having a hard time.
I’m not very tech savvy and I’m having the hardest time trying to figure out my power setting for the bullet I’m using. It used to be a lot easier when I first bought the scope. 3.5-10x44 Conquest 800.

The worst app ever
This app demands you log into internet connection and you’ll spend anywhere from Half and hour to an hour getting through the iOS issues related to a link to the website that creates weird screen issues and does not really function as an app. After several attempts to confirm my email I just lost interest in this poor functioning software. It has always been an odd thing that Zeus’s makes such great optics and then seems unwilling to pay for any software engineers. I wish I had bought scopes with better commitment to a ballistics app.
App is not working at all, 12/14/2022
Zeiss contacted me and asked if I could try App again, I did and everything is working, possibly better than before.
Need to be connected to internet to use
Garbage app… you’ve got to be on internet and logged in or it just says “no internet connection” why would a simple ballistic app that supports a scope you bought from Zeiss require an internet connection? Also, even when connected and logged in, the app is a garbage marketing tool. I regret purchasing my Zeiss Conquest 5HD 3-15x42 because the rapid Z reticle calculator is too hard to access and use. The sad thing is, when Ibought the scope originally, that wasn’t the case. Zeiss, my advise would be to fire your marketing department and restore access to what was once a very assessable and usable app!
Ok app
Wish I had control to organize tabs in the table. The app is ok but I will most likely use it for raw data and refine it the old fashioned way with my army issued write in the rain notebook. Would also be nice to edit and modify the data to reflect my actual data
Works well enough
App works well for figuring out rough point of impact. The app takes a while to load and freezes up if WiFi is not available. Would like to see an off line function so you could still access dope charts.
Manual very cryptic. Even tech supports does not understand it.
I purchased the ZEISS 10 X 42 RF binoculars because of the built in ballistic program. When I attempted to sync with the ZEISS Hunter App I was exasperated. The app has a function that is supposed to measure local conditions using cel towers. This does not happen. The charts that are displayed are accurate only for sea level. Fortunately the binoculars know where it is and makes appropriate adjustments. If you sight your rifle at sea level things are fine at altitude if you only rely on the binoculars for holdover. If you rely on the chart in the app it will not adjust for altitude. I talked with tech support three different times and they were not aware of the problem. They told me I should always use the automatic “conditions function before syncing with the binoculars. That gives accurate results only if you are zeroing the rifle at sea level.

Excellent app that does what it needs to do
I used this app for the first time this year. I found it very intuitive and easy to use. Could their ammunition and scope database use some updates? Yes. But those things change so often that it’s not easy to keep the database up to date. But beyond that, it’s an excellent app. The ballistic drop calculator works great. The weather integration is awesome. If you are a shooter, this app is for you.
