They take your money only to raise the rent
I recently started using this app to look for an apartment. I thought I was tripping when a place that I looked at seem to have increased in price after I originally paid for an application to see the property. I sense then started screenshotting properties as soon as they get emailed to me. I am now certain that they are increasing the rent after they’ve received x amount of applications / contacts.
It’s almost as if they realized they priced a property too low, and then raise it once they received so many applications / contacts.
They use specially wording that implies that you will see the property once you fill out an application, which you have to pay for. So you’re being forced to pay for this, to see that. And most of the properties don’t even get back to you or confirm if times you’ve scheduled to see a properties work for them. Since then, I’ve filed claims through my credit card company.
Issues with App and Web
I’ve deleted and redownloaded thinking the problem would be fixed. You go on the web browser and multiple page searches do not change the listing when you click next page. So I thought the app would be better but the problem with it is that the listing are cut off on the left. For such a popular search engine it’s ridiculous it has these issues
Bad app
If you change your mind and want to buy instead of renting, you cannot switch on the app on iPad. Bad design

I tried millions times to make forget my password to create a new one the option is not available and even they don’t send me emails to my email to recreate a new password in the other app and even when i use different email they send me the email but the link is not working i really feel angry and i just waisted my time it is really frustrating thing you have to fix that bugs 😤😤😤
Zillow lies
“Days on Zillow” 2 but I’ve had the listing saved for months! This happens a lot.
Once they get your email you cannot unsubscribe. They keep flooding you with emails you don’t want. They are probably the worst spammers on the internet.
Misleading Rental listings
The app functions well. Nice features. But Zillow should enforce truth/accuracy in 1 BR rental listings. A "room in a house" and "efficiency apartment" is NOT the same as a 1 BR apartment. They should be required to post under Studio. Many studio apartments are listed under 1 BR.
App doesnt fit on iphone
This app is extremely hard to use because the information doesnt fit on my iphone screen. You can’t push it over or view the left content when you click on a specific property. I tried adjusting several settings and it still doesnt work.
Format is off / doesn’t fit iPhone screen
The app was working fine and is fine but now it’s all cut off and not formatted correctly. I tried deleting and re-installing but it’s cutting off the text and photos. So strange bc it’s never had this problem. It’s been happening for like 3 weeks or so.
Messaging broken
On both mobile and browser, the messaging on Zillow is broken!!! I get a notification on my phone that I’ve been contacted by a rental property I’ve reached out to, but I can’t see any messages and my inbox says it’s empty! I’ve tried everything and it seems I’m not the only one experiencing this major issue. This has been going on for years for many people, PLEASE FIX IT!!!
