Disgusting pay-to-use app
If you’re going to make an app completely unusable without a subscription, why not be upfront and honest about it? In the app’s export interface, amongst many options, only one or two of the options are marked with the premium icon, which gives you the illusion that you can at least export your file in some forms. Now if you try to just export the content as an image, the app first lets you use a rigid unpersonalized footer (and tells you that the others are for subscription users), and then creates the image for you...which seems like everything will work. But when you actually try to save the image, it tells you that you need a subscription in order to actually export as images. When you frantically try out other export options to find that it is simply impossible to export your content, you are left feeling cheated, and being coerced into paying for a subscription in order to export your content. What’s the point of a free writing app, when you can’t export a single writing without paying for a subscription? I suppose you’ll keep using it and writing in it before you realize that you’ve been scammed. Utterly disgusting.
