Buggy and slow
This app is very buggy and very slow to download magazine so I suggest before buying this app try free trial otherwise u regret
If you subscribe via Zinio it works ok…
But if you subscribe via Apple it’s very buggy. It’s also cheaper to subscribe via Zinio, so a no brainer.
Doesn’t work when subscription renewed
Every time I renew my subscription I have to contact support to get them to manually renew it because I can’t read the magazines. It keeps asking for payment. Had enough, switching to Magzster. Fix your app issue.
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE
Like everyone else, subs come out every month without fail. Access to content however - consistently says sub has expired. Give this one a miss.
Average unstable access
The app has a good range of magazines but frankly I got tired of being told that I had to renew my subscription when ZINIO had already taken the monthly subscription. Very good at collecting the subscription, not so good at providing consistent access, and as you can see from other reviews I’m not the only one. Also the fact that even though you download a magazine to your device, you still need to be online to begin to read something that was previously “downloaded”. One star may seem harsh but if you can’t consistently provide a service someone has paid for really you don’t deserve any stars, it’s not like you’ll refund me for the multitude of times you didn’t provide what was paid for and why should I continually have to advise customer service of issues with your product which, as I said previously noted, others have also notified you of.
Not able to manage subscription
I can’t see any subscription on the apple subscription page, but I have been charged monthly subscription for 4 months. Now don’t know where I can cancel it!
Not working again
As lots of people have said…. Once again I can’t access magazines despite having an active subscription. Happens every month. Needs to be fixed. Support request sent agin
Great app when working 2
I Have the same issue as a previous reviewer. I have been unable to get the app to work for the last 2 months. Even removing and reinstalling as well as restore purchases has not worked. I have used this app for the last 12 months with no issue but it started occurring during the last couple of months so something needs to be done. I will be deleting the app and removing my subscription if it is not resolved in the next 2 weeks.
Average selection and shady practices
Apples News+ probably has a better selection and interface. Zinio is just packed full of old and low tier magazines. The developers promised a huge update but it turned out to just be a new logo and app icon lol. Cya later
