Easily open and extract your zip files and archives and store them inside the app.

Zip Viewer lets you open zip file attachments from your emails, Safari downloads or other applications that offer a share/'open in' feature. (Also password protected zip files.)

Import zip files from iCloud Drive or other cloud providers such as Dropbox or Box (app needs to be installed on the device) directly from Zip Viewer.

Zip files will be automatically extracted and stored in the application documents directory.

You can drill down through the folder structure within the zip file. Files can be viewed by the build-in file previewer which supports file formats such as:

- iWork documents
- Microsoft Office documents (Office ‘97 and newer)
- Rich Text Format (RTF) documents
- PDF files
- Images
- Public text files
- Audio file (playback)
- Movie files (playback)

Share extracted files via email, Twitter, Facebook - Pass them through to other applications that support the file format (e.g. for editing) or printed via AirPrint. (functionality is depending on your device configuration)

The extracted files can be removed manually. The complete folder/file structure can be downloaded via iTunes file exchange too.

Use Zip Viewer alongside with Zip to Mail to get the full experience of viewing and creating zip archives. Zip to Mail is also available for free on the App Store.

Not pretty but it works

Simple layout and it works with no problems.

Irritating ads

I used to use this, and used to love it but the update with ads are distracting and looks unprofessional in meetings - so am deleting the app and Will find a new zip viewer

Does the business for my zip file songs.

App caused issues with upzipped documents

Something is terribly wrong with this app. It blocked me from opening files on my phone. All back to normal after i deleted it.

Killed by the update.

Was pretty good. I had downloaded some files from a website that recommended the app. All was going well, I would open the app, select the file and crack on. Then the update...... now when I open it, there’s a third of the page taken up by file lists and ads, and then the frequent pop up ads that weren’t there before. I am gutted, as I had paid for the files, and now they are a pain to use. I’ll be looking for a new one and deleting this as soon as I can get the files transferred over.

Waste of time

This app wouldn’t open my zip files waste of time downloading

On my iPhone. Unzipped files, viewed and used. Fantastic

great app but...

if i’m playing something it will just stop of it’s own accord during the piece? Otherwise great app really quick and easy to use

Fatally flawed

Apart from the full screen adverts popping up every few seconds, it isn’t possible to export any files from this app: once you select this app as the destination for a zip file, both the original zip and its expanded contents cannot be exported. I have lost several valuable files this way. Avoid.
