Zoominator

I had the same high contrast problem. With great effort, I discovered it was only for the new videos made with HEVC or H.265 format, Apples new and improved compression system. I’m using an iPhone 13 pro max. Zoominator doesn’t appear to have been updated in over a year. The older H.264 style still works with Zoominator. So you need to convert your newer video to the older style. To see what your video is, open it from your camera roll, then swipe up to reveal the meta data. The way I figured it out is to upload it to another video app, then immediately save it again and use that version. I used the free video editing app called Videoshop. There are probably other apps that will do it too. iMovie doesn’t do that for me.

I was trying to zoom in on a video, the preview showed that the subject was centered but when I went to download the video it was out of the frame.

i’ve been looking for a simple pan and zoom app for a long time now. as far as i know yours is the only one that let’s you use the ken burns effect! the only thing that’s reallly reallly needed is to be able to save in 1080p. and i would not mind if that means there will have to be a purchase. it’s a very significant because a lot of us don’t want to sacrifice the video’s quality. all you need is the option to save in 1080p.

I downloaded the app and tried to use it. I’m not an idiot but I needed a tutorial with instructions and could’t find one. No menu. No help. Deleted app.

I’ve been using it for a while no problems but now when I put a video in there the contrast is super high and when I save it it’s just a black video with the audio

nice app! creating multiple anchor points is a great idea. but why the square output only? definitely a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if theres an option for a portrait or landscape output!

I like that you can add multiple anchor points. You can set the number of seconds that you want to hold on the starting and the ending point. But why the square crop ? I never want to start with a square image. I would like to dial in the zoom speed by number of seconds, no just “slower or faster”. Keep up the good work. I appreciate it.

Great app! Easy to use and does a fantastic job. I had difficulty figuring out how to save a video at first, but the app included a very helpful Faq section that got me right past it. Free, no watermark and great tools. It doesn’t get better than that! Many thanks to the creators of this app!

I use this app to create interesting transitions. I screenshot the opening scene on a video clip, process the shot on this app, then place the shot back at the beginning of the same video clip to create an intro. Unfortunately, this app crops videos that you process, but the cropped videos are still useful as an intro or transition between regular clips. Best of all, it’s free (for now).
