Regularly stops playing for absolutely no reason and forces you to listen to the same ad after you HAVE to resort to just restarting the app. Plus all the on screen ads. And it’s radio so ads there too. I only listen for Dave and Chuck. This is the last straw. Just listening a day late on Spotify from now on.
Click the play button and wait up to 30 minutes and nothing. Even after starting the app, my network connection, and my phone. It has been a week and since they don’t have a way to get ahold of them, I am here.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and multiple times a week I can’t hear Dave and check the freak live. Same issues trying to listen on iHeart radio.
I’ve noticed when I go to listen in the morning it says live but it’s playing something from a different day and won’t be the current day. I’d like to be able to listen to the current day not the show from a few days ago
Sound quality is always top notch. However there are a few playback issues, mainly starting up a stream. The app seems to struggle pretty badly with starting the stream and is practically impossible to start back up if you want to switch back and forth between other media players like Facebook videos or YouTube videos. I was actually able to search up the app manually, type, edit and post this review after hitting play on the app. All because I watched a Facebook video while the stream was in play.
It worked long enough to play an add, but won’t play the live content.
On android I had my issues, but everything seemed to work ok. I just switched to the new iPhone SE; app now stops streaming after 15 min. I then have to close app to get the stream to start playing again. I’m not the only user with these problems. Dave & Chuck the Freak Podcast raises rating to three stars, please fix. Miraculously got worse after leaving comment. Terribly disappointed!!!!
The app just stops streaming the show, every time the phone is locked the show just pauses. Once the phone is unlocked, the it starts streaming again. Love the show hence I put up with this BS.
This app is terrible. Constantly closing and lagging. Worst part is if you pause an episode and minimize the app, it closes out the podcast completely and your stuck trying to find where you left off. You are a multi-million dollar company, maybe get a tech team who is halfway decent (Dave and chuck complain all the time, listen to tour employees as well as your customers)!
