17hats

After six months of using 17hats, we can confidently say it falls far short of its promises. The app, marketed as an all-in-one business management solution, is plagued with issues and overselling. Key features remain incomplete, and the paid banking module supports hardly any banks and is riddled with bugs. The calendar tool fails to properly check for conflicts, and important emails often go undelivered. Despite assurances from their small team, issues remain unresolved with no follow-up. Overall, 17hats has been a major letdown.

I like this app but I don’t love it. It doesn’t allow me to do everything I can do through the website. I downloaded the app so I can use every feature of 17 Hats when I’m not on my computer but, unfortunately, this app doesn’t allow me to. Please give us the ability to do everything we can do through the website on the app.

It's the only app that can run my ENTIRE business from the palm of my hand. I love how everything I do from the desktop version of 17hats can also be done within the mobile version as well!

The app wont work on my phone.

Overall the app works pretty good. It needs some serious improvements though. I shouldn’t have to log in every time I open the app, that’s a bit frustrating. If anything give us Face ID so it’s faster. I would also like to be able to create projects and send contracts/quotes to clients. It’s not quite as useful as I hoped it would be. I think you need a UI overhaul too. It feels outdated and I’m hearing honeybook is taking the lead because they have more frequent updates.

I love 17 hats as a program, works great on my laptop and iPad but the app on my phone is so faulty and inconsistent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It’s frustrating because most of the time it’s NOT working on my phone. But when using on my computer it’s totally reliable and easy to use. Please fix the app already…it’s been years and this is something that will make me switch programs eventually.

The app used to work well but now every time I launch it it goes to a blank screen. Seems like they haven’t updated it to work with recent iOS changes. Pretty disappointing as I really need to access client information when I’m out on the road.

Whenever I click on a notification it goes to a blank white page. How have they not fixed this yet? Why doesn’t it remember my login information or have the ability to know it’s a login situation. Every time I want to login I have to manually type in my login information. So frustrating!

Would be great if it worked all the time.

This app has shown a blank screen for 2-3 months now. It’s making us rethink our options as we are on the road often and tired of having to use the clunky safari option. Please fix this!
