For months the radar hasn’t worked properly. I’m in the middle of a huge thunderstorm here in Texas and the app shows nothing around me. Funny, because lightning is striking all around me. Thus was once my go to app, but now, the radar is useless.

I have used 1Weather for years (paid version) only to see it become worse and worse as a weather app. Be sure to read the latest reviews, especially if you’re considering the paid version, and notice the low review ratings. It used to be my “go to weather app”, but no longer. The owners need to wake up and fix the app, otherwise they’ve seen the last dollar they’ll ever see from me.

This app used to be cool until the radar stopped working and support is incredibly unresponsive. After three attempts to contact support, I have cancelled my subscription because of their lack of acknowledgement. There are better apps out there. Don’t bother with this one.

The radar function never worked. I’m disappointed that I spent money on this.

I give up on your useless app. Your app updates are worthless and take way too long to address the problems we bring to your attention!!!! You obviously don’t even care what we’re telling you, because your App Store star rating is still only 4.3 ( I don’t know why it isn’t worse, should be 2.5 at best) and nothing has changed in the last year or more. It’s a shame, because this app was really good, several years ago, but now it’s so useless and bad, that I’m deleting this piece of crap and going to rely on some apps that are 100% better than this app. Weather Mate Pro, Weather Bug (free version) and there are others available also. You people should be ashamed of this app and really want to fix and improve it, but month after month, year after year, nothing has, or does change. Do yourself and us a favor and just get rid of this piece of crap!!!!!!!

What happened the the extended weather out weeks? I’ve used this app since it’s start because of that feature it made your app special now it’s just like all the rest the same and many are even better then yours now. It’s really sad. 95 out of 100 you were correct about the weather. I’m going to have to look for another app now that has the 12 weeks out.

UPDATE 4/17/2023: Nothing has changed and tech support has yet to respond to previous help requests sent via the app. Have removed a star. Since you can’t give 0 stars, then I guess this is the bottom. They commented to a review on 1 Apr regarding the 12-week forecast no longer available but seriously, that’s useless anyway. In fact, that’s the only review they’ve responded to, not to any that actually provide useful feedback. PREVIOUS REVIEW: As a meteorologist for almost 40 years, it was encouraging to find a weather app in the US that actually did some good things. Just the observed weather section was a leap ahead of most apps by showing other data points like dew point and pressure. Lately, though, it’s quality has dropped. 1)The current weather doesn’t update consistently. 2)Recent updates have added features that do not add to the experience, like the ridiculous banners under the current weather that show sophomoric comments about air quality and visibility. If I want snark in my weather app, there are others apps that do it better, like WTForecast. 3)If listening to music or podcasts, opening this app causes the audio to stop. It doesn’t pause the audio; it does not resume when you close the app. You have to manually restart what you were listening to. 4)It has become slower at the start, probably because it has to generate all the fluff. Support (via the app help link) doesn’t respond so I don’t know if things will get better. Guess I’ll be searching again for a better weather app.

Have a free trial of this app, but will not purchase. I just want a weather app without all the completely unnecessary sayings. I don’t even understand most of them, and by the other reviews, I see I’m not the only one. These sayings distract from what should be the main goal of the app - give weather reports. Unsubscribing from my free trial now - so glad I did not purchase this before checking it out.

The app has been getting too bloated with unnecessary information. Radar has not been working for a while. Does not comply with CA customer data and privacy policies.
