5 Letter - Word Puzzles

This is a simple Wordle game, pretty straightforward, no multiple languages, dictionary or else. Graphics are ok, not fancy. Dark mode may have more contrast perhaps but personally I prefer this simple desing. The statistics could be much better, the functionalities like streak, better display of guess distribution percentages etc. can be added. The game crashes occasionally, especially when the video ads come in while you play. Video ads are not too much but you see them regularly (I prefer the minimum banner ads which doesn’t disturb your game play). The game reset itself to light theme after each crash regardless your settings but you don’t have much setting options either.

Very fun game, addicting!

Ads seem pretty intrusive – in at least two cases it played an ad before you could even start a game which seems ridiculous. The highlighting is something that somebody else pointed out, but it’s really misleading. In my case it was a four letter word and I had [blank] I [blank] H. So I tried HIGH and it highlighted the first H in yellow which means that it’s valid but in the wrong spot, but there are no words ending in IHH. So in that situation the first H should’ve been grayed out. Another highlighting issue has to do with the incorrect letters. On the grid, they are light gray and the blank rows are white; however, on the keyboard they reverse it so that the incorrect letters are white and the unplayed letters are gray. Which is unnecessarily confusing. Anyway, I’m going to be deleting it now.

Would like to see the use of a same letter blacked out instead of yellow if it is not needed in the final word to win.

I’d really like this app if I could figure out how to reduce the image to fit on my (12.9”) iPad. The way it appears, the grid of letter boxes fits but the keyboard only shows the top 2 rows. Usually pinching works to reduce an image, but not in this app!
