500px-Photo Sharing Community

There should be more customization for the widgets. I’m not too interested in having a bunch of naked models on my home screen.

I cannot upload photos from iphone, tho i can from Mac. Have checked connectivity, permissions, reloaded app etc. Frustrating

I can find nothing in the app that allows me to search for specific accounts or specific photos (flowers, macro, etc).

The way the app crops images makes browsing through others’ work downright impossible. I’ll continue using the website for now.

I have no idea how to navigate this app. I can’t back out when i see photos in full screen on my iPad. Plus i have to click on every nsfw photo warning to see nsfw photos like I’m 12 years old. I don’t live in Florida. Please stop blocking my access to art.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL THE APP IS FULL OF BOTS ON EVERY PICTURE DOZENS COMENT EVERY MINUTE JUST DISGUSTING COMENTS. Will be removing all of my photos off this disgraceful app.

Can’t login any more. I guess they just stopped any kind of support or upgrades.

This has been a nice little app for 500px but recently they’ve decided they need to change how they handle NSFW content. I can see setting a checkbox that says it’s okay/not okay to show adult content but forcing users to click on each pic to see it is a nonstarter. I hope they fix this quick. Face it: it’s a photography site. Nudity is common in photography.

On my 3rd year as a paid member of 500px. This year I subscribed and they tell me I didn’t even though Apple clearly shows I paid through April 2025. I’ve emailed them and they said a host of different things blaming Apple and my bank but no resolution to date. Also the like button and follows is broken which is 95% of their model. Edit: Apple finally refunded me, I won’t be paying for another year as their like button and follows have been broken for almost a week. I also received a response from Tim at 500px about the like button issue and he said the are aware of the issue but have no eta for a resolution.
