Had a great meal. Steaks are always prepared perfectly, good wine list, and our server, Scott, was enjoyable as well as efficient.

Great experience, Misha U was a great, knowledgeable, and professional who takes pride in servicing his guests. Gave great recommendations and finished all elements of service. I will request him in the future. Culinary-wise, the oysters were delicious but the protein was smaller than an average muscle. Wasn't worth $22 compared to a pound of muscle. Cocktail shrimp were perfectly cooked and were a good “8-10 count” The only complaint would be the cocktail sauce was pushing the horseradish pretty strong, my wife ordered the shrimp but couldn't eat the condiment. I'm not sure why my wife ordered the chicken piccata. She enjoyed it but so did my grandparents 50 years ago. My chimichurri steak was the star. Hats off to the broiler cook. The hardest job is in the kitchen. Overall, 801 Local gets a strong, two thumbs up. After 30-plus years in the private club industry, if you ever need a fair but critical secret shopper I'm your guy! We love 801 Chophouse! Thank you for always making our experience special! We came for my birthday and had an amazing experience. From the Troon drink to the Down Home shrimp to Ahi Tuna and petite Filet and Brussel Sprouts. Finished with Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler to go. So good! Thank you!

Wonderful staff. Great place

Decided to come to 801 during happy hour, but didn’t do the happy hour specials, although they are great. The bartenders …notably Jainee went out of their way to come over to the extra “bar” seating outside of the bar. She was attentive and made the evening very enjoyable despite not sitting at the bar . I had the scallop appetizer they were delicious! Three large scallops, lightly wrapped in pancetta on a roasted red pepper sauce. They were cooked perfectly! I will look forward to returning! Oh, and it was pretty neat to see the person next to me ordered the Wagyu, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity!!! Great ambience loved the music tonight all around a great experience!
