Needs proper sort functions

Disappointed with the latest update. Wouldn't bother with it now.

Does what it says plus more, just what I wanted, works smoothly, steams media from my media server to my iPad and I am even able to send to my TV with no setup required.

Works. Easy to use. Supports all the common formats

One of my favourite apps for catching up on entertainment before sleep. Very useful and flexible whether streaming or playing direct from device (iphone4S or ipad4), what I most admire though is the frequent effort going in to improving the app for those who have already purchased - thank you to the author for that :)

I would given it a 4 star. However, still missing slideshow and music when project photos to smart TV. Please consider this.

Unfortunately brought this when all the video types used to work. There's a bunch of file types it cant play so is a waste of money.

Not a bad looking app and has potential but needs the missing codecs sorted to be really useful

*****Updated Dec 2012***** As you can see from the review below I used to love this app. Unfortunately due to codec restrictions almost all of my files no longer play on my devices. At the moment there seems to be no info on when these will become available if at all. I wish I had not updated. Other media apps seem to have the codecs as a purchase option, maybe that will happen with this? I can't stress how important this app is to me. I use it on my iPad pretty much every day. It works with my Iomega media player which is where I keep most of my content. Even more importantly it works with my Seagate GoFlex Satellite, which is more than the seagate software does. Without it my GFS would be next to useless. It also works with the twonky server on my mac. In fact I am yet to find a situation or file format that it doesn't work with. I love the fact that I can download videos to it which I do and then takes to the gym, coupled with Bluetooth headphones I can cycle or run on the treadmill for ages whilst catching up on film and tv. It does occasionally glitch but that might just be to do with the files I send to it. Key to the success of this app is that the guy who made it has always answered my emails and is clearly continuing to improve it. It doesn't look that flash but it works which is much more important. WD, Seagate, Iomega and even Apple could learn from this app and from the customer service. Forget all the others this is the app to download.

Excellent app. Does what it's supposed to and is worth paying for.
