Kicks me out
When I try to subscribe it kicked me out of the app. Every time. All my devices.
Love It
I love 9to5Mac. The news articles are on point and very informative. I’m a firm Apple fan and get the most important news and product updates there. I highly recommend it.
Apparently you have to double pay on iPad and iPhone
After purchasing a premium membership on my phone, apparently it doesn’t extend to any other devices, so I plan to cancel my subscription now.
Used to be good
I have been a loyal subscriber to 9 to 5 Mac app for years, but for he past 6+ months I have to go in and click Renew Subscription every time I open the app. I reported it to support months ago, but no response. What’s the point of the subscription then?

Does not give complete stories. Redirects to websites. Mostly pure click bait. More annoying than helpful.
Killed app from limit rate
You gotta be joking with this limited reading articles and after 3 I have to open in the browser. Literally barely open the app now. Just keep the ads in the app. Another thing opening the comments brings it up in safari. Like who thought this was an improvement. Was the app just abandoned?
Pretty good, some suggestions
The app is good for browsing articles but it is annoying to have to open my browser to view articles since I don’t subscribe. It would be nicer for everything to be in-app.
Get Apple Insider Instead
This was a good place to get news. Now it’s worthless. Get Apple Insider. It’s free and and has better information.
Excellent, but with Subscriber Bugs
This is the best Apple / Mac news app around and I’m supporting it by subscribing. However, although I subscribe, the app still thinks I’m a free user and limits the articles I can read. I’ve emailed several times about the problem and get no response. Again, I have no problem being a subscriber and I’d like to be one for their entire suite of apps, but this bug needs to get squashed, otherwise there is no point in continuing.
