Why does the app keep forgetting my setup of sounds and my mix? Everytime I switch it on it’s reset to default! Other than that it’s great app, I like the extra paid sounds the most and I like it turns off after certain time I specify.

Disappointed by this app as the rain sound is different than on the website, and has a weird sort of echo in the background. sounds less like rain and more like a buzzing sort of white noise

This app is a godsend for anyone who feels sensitive to noise in their environment… if you struggle to relax or concentrate where you live and work. What sets it apart from most other apps of its kind, is that you can put together different ambient sounds (rain, wind, birds, etc.) and create your own “mix”, rather than being stuck with preset tracks — often with poor audio quality and some dreadful, cheesy piano thrown in for good measure. Not all of the sounds are available in the free version, but I highly recommend paying the extra couple of quid to support this great app. And if you like it, tell your friends! :-)

I use it whenever I want to focus or find it difficult to and it works every time.

I have been using this app for years now, an I absolutely love it, hook it up to my speakers and fill the room with high quality fire, thunder or rain sound. Many thanks to the developers who brought this concept to life!

I’ve used the website for several years and I just recently installed the app. The web version has all sounds unlocked but for £1.99, I think it’s worth it. It’s nice to sit with ambient sounds, but with the app, it’ll be great to listen to while drifting off

Love the app; if there was anything I’d appreciate in an update though it would be: - being able to add timers to sounds individually to change the sound gradually. - being able to fade sounds in over a period of time the way you can fade out - any new sounds, maybe a way to add custom sounds of our own to be managed by the app.

I downloaded this app in 2016 when I was writing my thesis. I was living alone in a flat and had no friends or family to talk with+my apartment was located in kinda isolated area. It was difficult to stay awake and to work without hearing self nagging negative sounds in my head. Suddenly heard about this app from someone I followed on a social media app, I decided to give it a try. And never regretted it! I used to play the “Coffee Shop” noise which gave exactly the same feeling of a café environment. I noticed my my productivity improved significantly and I wrote more pages/day than before. Now I’m using it for my PhD work and I recommend this app to all people who asked for little motivation or help to overcome boredom associated with academic writing.
