A3 smart home app is very useful and easy to use. Definitely i recommend.
I wish I would have done more research before I chose AAA. The app is limited in what it will let you view and it is not easy to find what you are looking for. You can only view video from when the camera was triggered rather than going to a specific time you would like to see. I have useless videos of neighborhood cats but nothing for when the kids were knocking over my Christmas decorations.
Ok but not easy to change chime or change settings. Camera troubleshooting does not work. App does not bring up photo but does ring phone and send text message. Not as functional for common lay person as should b. Disappointed.
App is designed by alarm.com and branded AAA. It's a fantastic product!
The new two step verification is ridiculous. I want to see whats outside my house asap. Now I have to wait for a code?? This feature should be optional
I love this app but if I were able to see key features and functions in CarPlay it would be a game changer!
App locks up constantly won't allow to change emergency contacts on app. redundant notifications with garage door no way to shut them off. temporary disabling notifications for motion is a pain. lag time for video of motion when is enabled.
Cameras periodically stop working and now it seems to have kicked me out
I have a problem with my sensors and I just learned that their Contact Support number is not open 24/7. There is no chat support either. The saved video storage for alarms/activities have limited capacity, I have 6 cameras so I was forced to put the alarm activities to a minimum. Only advantage is that it can store 2 weeks of 24/7 video recording.
Fails more often than works - customer service hours are terrible. They are not they same as they brach office or the regular 800#
