AAMI App

2017 Mustang… AAMI says the parts required are ‘obsolete’ and offer us $4k cash and our damaged car back! The information on the app kept changing!! After 3 months they can fix it. Another month and the car is returned, fixed with some ‘modified’ parts. It took months of ‘negotiations’ to get them to do anything. Through BOTH their complaints departments, then to AFCA. We managed to get $1k compensation but will no longer insure anything with AAMI and have sold the car that cannot be repaired. AAMI’s handling of this was abysmal. If you can’t fix it, write it off!! Should be simple!

AAMI make it easy to deal with insurance. They cover you for everything. If you want to make it cheaper you can delete certain items you do not want. Other companies make their policies cheaper by not covering you for items you think you’re covered for. They do the buyer be ware style of insurance. AAMI may seem dearer but they are not. They cover you for everything. AAMI are peace of mind. Sleep in peace and wake up refreshed. 😃

Home Screen shows ‘no existing policies’ So I click ‘add policy’ and enter my information It then says ‘this policy is already added’ Home Screen still shows ‘no existing policies’ What great fun. I have had it working in the past, so I know how it should work. It just doesn’t lately.

I’ve spent 90 minutes trying to update a policy which should be a straightforward task without having to speak to a very slow and unresponsive live chat operator, made even more difficult by how bad this app is.

Paid for my policy come out of my bank account. I had to call them up to get the policy number. They didn’t email it to me it.

I’m required to put in my details to have them sent to me. My details are not recognised. Why aren’t they just available in the app?

App works great very informative however having an issue where it doesn’t take the money out of the account automatically when there is money in the account for it. Double checked the information I put in for the bsb and account number and it’s all correct. I also removed it and put it in again and it still doesn’t work 🥲
