Various papers, interesting papers

It is a good application for academics , however I wish more work was put into showing off the credibility of the authors — in a quick access way in the suggestions . Otherwise papers with 0 views at the time — these papers you cannot use viewership as a proxy for their veracity .

Once I was challenged by a non-Catholic who said in my presence to her pastor how lucky she was to be in a church that didn’t believe that we are saved by good works. I suggested that when Jesus said “Come you blessed of my Father…..for I was hungry and you fed me”, He indicated that faith AND works are necessary. It put her on the spot. I was pleased to see that Robert Sungenis speaks about this teaching.

Can’t access messages via App

I love the app because it sends me papers related to my interests. Although sometimes there’s too much about Wagner for some reasons! Still I can tweak my searches and get a different track I expect! I have a huge ‘library’ and will never read it all, but I love having papers there invade. I also love looking out for mentions of my own (one!) paper in the work of others - it makes me feel connected to the academic world …
