Starts you all the way back at the beginning if you die ,( which btw is super easy to do) If you like that frustrating aspect to games then this is great. If not dump it like i am

Recommend this game if you like Metroid, you will love this game. Fun game and good graphics and love the boss fights

A basic sort-of metroidvania

I want to give the developer credit since everything was done by a single person. I enjoyed the graphics, and the music is fairly well suited to the theme of the game. I had seen that it was MFI controller compatible but somehow didn’t work at all with my Steelseries Nimbus. I would have preferred it but the touch controls are simple and responsive so it was fine. I mean no disrespect to the dev but I will point out some things that you may like to know before jumping in; I didn’t encounter any major bugs but rather small oversights such as your character automatically moving right when a boss fight starts or even after killing the first boss, while it’s in its exploding animation, you can still be hit and killed by any projectiles bouncing around even though you aren’t able to move your character at that time. I was also able to cheese the second boss since it can take damage even before the fight is even triggered. These are negligible since I understand that as a single dev it isn’t possible to test everything. The map is mildly useful and shows your immediate vicinity. You cannot view it in its entirety and doesn’t have any indicators or color code areas to separate them. There isn’t really any incentive to kill enemies if you can avoid them. But sadly also no incentive for exploration beyond the main story quest items. Which you’ll find pretty easily without much exploration. There aren’t any coins/gems/collectibles or secret areas to warrant you exploring around looking for stuff. Which is a pity since it’s a graphically pretty game to wonder around in if it had interesting stuff to see/find/do. I don’t wish to discount the effort put into making this game but $3 is a rather steep asking price given the sheer amount of other games available on the app store.

Not worth it

This game is not worth 3 bucks. Maybe 99 cents. Way too short. Map system is way too basic. English grammar is terrible. There’s only a few enemies and 98% of them you can just walk on by, no need to shoot them. Music is boring. Exploring is boring.

Another gem from a talented indie developer

I really enjoy this developer’s games. They are inspired by classics from my younger days. The control scheme is really spot on for touch screen controls. You walk right and left with a slider, while jumping and firing on on the right side. It’s very precise for this type of game. The music is fantastic. It’s got a electronic, melodic ambiance to it if that makes any sense. It sort of reminds me of Machinarium. The pixel art is very cool. Cool range of colors with vibrant blues and purples mixed with reds. I always like his/her color schemes in the previous titles too. Reminds me of a bag of berry skittles haha. The basic story revolves the player finding research data at a base. There is no contact with the base so you are going into unknown territories with you and your radio companion. This title definitely takes inspiration from Metroid and Super Metroid which is awesome. You can never have too many metroidvanias. Difficulty is not too bad. Perfect game! To developer: My only complaint is lack of markers on the map like if there are multiple entry points or points of interest that are blocked. Maybe you can add a way to see if doors have been opened yet or if you are blocked by an obstacle that needs a later item?
