I’m definitely going to use the App as soon I’m capable of taking a picture and sharing it as a task. I’m good with words, but when it comes to quickly remind myself of something, I’m living in a world of images.
You cannot do anything without paying. The download is free but you cannot do a thing. Do not download this app you’re wasting your time!!!!! P
Nice app, cleverly thought out. But.... i purchased (the most expensive) studio bundle and only Timepage works, Actions remains in trial mode (and thus useless). Unanswered mails for help to the support team leave me frustrated that this app I really wanted to like is let down by bugs and lack of support.
I really like the concept of the app. The layout and function of it is something I have never seen before, so I really want to keep using it. Unfortunately, there are some bugs and just inconvenient functions. - Why do the tasks not organise themselves by date behind the ‘later’ mark? And if i want to organise them myself, it deletes the date? Why? - it also takes way to many steps to add a specific date to a task in my opinion. I don't mind paying for an app via subscription. But let me pay for something that works.
A One-Time purchase would have been way better than a monthly subscription... Don't even bother downloading it ! 1/5
I won’t come back on the subscription business model as it’s already been commented. I’ll just add that for that price, I expect the app to actually work and bring added value. So first of all, the app is slow. Very, very slow. I mean on my iPhone 6 Plus with only 4 repetitive actions set up, it takes 1 to 2 minutes to just launch and allow me to interact with the actions (i.e. I have to make sure the phone doesn’t lock before). Long story short: iPhone 6, 6s and probably 7 owners, this app is not for you. Then, there’s the notifications issue: it’s still more than basic (i.e. no tag on the app icon, no possibility to easily reschedule, postpone, etc. an action directly on the notification (or in the app for that matter), etc). Also, the set up of actions is all manual and isolated (i.e. no link with emails, Apple Reminders or Contacts, without mentioning third party apps). Finally, each action visually takes so much space on the screen that it actually is pretty hard to have an overview of one’s planned actions. Also going back and forth between Timepage and Actions is time consuming and confusing at times. Sooo... Still a lot of work for you guys to make this app useful and useable. Good luck! Update June-July 2018 : After one of the numerous updates, the sync with the server is more rapid (not lightning speed though, even on wi-fi), which improves the overall speed of the app. It still takes a good 30 sec for the app to load the info related to each reminder, then another 30 sec to process the first reminder I mark as done (oddly enough, the other ones take only about one second). It accordingly is very tempting to mark them all done in one go to avoid the waiting, but it then kinda miss the point, me think. Other points haven’t changed.
Firstly, the integration between Actions and TimePages should be insured: I am NOT going to pay a total of 24€/year for the two apps, sorry. Secondly, the scheduling of a task to a certain day should be "visually interleaved" to other events: in its current form the scheduling is de facto only implicit. Too bad.
The app is probably interesting, for sure good looking though after a 7days trial you have to pay to continue using it. In-app purchase philosophy should be you can use part of it for free and pay for the rest, this is free demo than pay... I do not like this approach... sorry, competition is there, available for free. Good luck with your app nevertheless.
