ACTIVE - Fitness Events

Looking for half and full marathon in 1 yr, and this app shows nothing. no events when i know there are plenty out there. Useless app. I suggest not to become a member or pay anything.

The app is super glitchy and I can’t get anything to load. It will sometimes show a list of upcoming events but then I touch one to see details it just “loads” forever. And it shows my past events but when I touch for details, same thing. Now it won’t even show me upcoming events.

This app is completely useless.

⚠️All I did was sign up for a local race a month ago apparently at some point this app decided I wanted a free trial. A month later trying to figure out what just took 99.95 out of my account. To me this app is absolutely worthless and definitely shouldn’t cost 99.95 a year. So be sure after you register for a race go make sure they didn’t sneak a free trail in to scam money form you later‼️

I travel around the southeast and am always looking for new races. I find it hard to search a specific city sometimes. I put the city in but it will always give me the last city I was in. It’s very frustrating. Please fix your search filters.

Will take 99$ from your account without notice for annual fee. I emailed them, as this is the way you are supposed to contact support. And they don’t even respond. Horrible.

Can’t see my results for any of my past races. From old reviews I see there are no plans to ever fix this. Too bad! Could be great and motivate me to enter more races, but nah, I guess I’ll just do my usual runs that my friends already do. I’ll check back each year to see if you guys ever get serious about the App! Good luck!

This isn’t the first or only complaint about involuntary sign-ups for “Active Advantage” — it just happened to me. Now it’s $99.95/year, and you may only notice after you see a mysterious charge on your credit card. I didn’t get any email about it from Active until after the charge appeared, so never had a chance to cancel the “free trial” I didn’t know I had been signed up for. It’s a wonder the app gets so many five star reviews when Active was called the “most hated name in race registration” years ago. They still haven’t cleaned up their act.

It’s if you are an active person looking for things to do and the app is missing something that I can’t put my finger on

The website has a horrible filter. This app is much better but wonky. The website doesn’t see items you favorite in the app. Not a great app or website, but it’s better than nothing.
