Doesn’t block new tabs from opening in safari on iPad. Some sites don’t have a pop up exactly, but instead just open up a new tab in Safari. This won’t stop that.
I’ve used this for years and happily pay for Pro. I discovered it on Gruber’s Talk Show.
I just downloaded this app, and enabled it on my iPad. Went to Safari and loaded up YouTube.com and ran a short video… unfortunately, it does not block the YouTube ads.. they interrupt the video still as fast and furious as before. Disappointed!😢
Stay away it doesn’t block add in you tube ! Developers send me a email to try new update conclusions some time it’s working and sometimes it doesn’t !
A subscription based ad blocker with no options for a one-time purchase. There are apps that can justify providing only a subscription service with no one time purchase option. An ad blocker is not one of them. Consider providing a onetime (or even periodic multiple onetime) purchase option that unlocks premium feature(s).
After hearing from the developer and giving the app another shot, I found it pretty effective. I’ve been a 1Blocker fan for quite a while but when X came out it just seemed to cause tons of problems that whitelisting wasn’t fixing. So I tried Magic Lasso, and the first go was seriously disappointing. However my second run has been great. And they block Macworld’s auto play videos, which in of itself is worth the yearly subscription for pro, but the free basic does this just fine. I have to recommend it and once I’m working again (stupid COVID-19) I’ll become a pro subscriber.
It completely doesn’t work on my device. Does absolutely nothing. I have enabled it on safari content blockers and hanged to allow on YouTube and yet, I still get ads. Complete waste of time.
Purchased adblock several months ago and popup ads still appear frequently if nit totally out of control
But it seems to have been dropped. I was using it successfully and went to mess w my extension settings. When I tried setting them back to how they were, it no longer blocked ads.
