AdGuard — adblocker&privacy

First time using an Ad blocker. thank you so much. it’s free and it helps so much with those inappropriate adds that force you in a new tab. even if you want premium it’s so so so cheap and worth every penny. Now I can read and watch shows in peace!

I had problems with filters fail to update after taking forever to update (I wish it was 30s) or sometimes the updating would never stop and I had close the app and do it again. Also on my tablet I had to refresh the page sometimes so the ads stop running on the videos. All is good now! Thank you. If there was a way to block pop-up ads, it would be fantastic! They cannot load though and just show as blank pages. I already have disabled pop-ups in browser settings. Without this app, browsing web on mobile devices are a nightmare! Thanks again!

The ability to subscribe to block lists AND have this app stop in-app browsers (think the browser inside the Google app) use of JavaScript and CSS tracking is amazingly powerful! Also being able to block email tracking via CNAME is amazing! This app allows you to get very detailed with what you block if you’re a techie, or you can just use the default settings and it’s still amazing. The only thing missing from the app is a full VPN service so you don’t have to disable AdGuard to use a VPN.

Free version doesn’t even block the most basic of ad banners.

I get more ads after having installed this app, it doesn’t do a thing. Completely useless

Users agree, AdGuard is simply the best ad blocker on the market. With a few glitches here and there it’s the best. Period. MAJOR UPDATE!!! I’ve dumped AdGuard. Emailed for support. Zero response. Everything was perfect until latest update. I was a paying customer for years! Anyways moved on to another. Found one that seamlessly and effortlessly works with Safari and all Apps with zero issues. Sad to go, but no good if it aint gonna work for me. Cheers

I’m dropping every single company that uses A.I for customer service responses. If im paying for your services, I expect to get fast and reliable customer service. Not emails back and forth with a bot that turns a 5 min discussions into a 1-2 week ordeal with absolutely no way to call. Kindly gfy.

Got this to stop pop-up ads for streaming through safari, and the mass of ads on some literary websites. This gets rid of everything for free. The paid version is optional, and without using it the app still works excellently. Tysm

If you get this app for ads and popups on safari then it’s not as easy as just installing it. You’ll need to go through the settings and turn on all the annoyance filters and the dns stuff. And not to mention you gotta pay 6$ a year. Overall id say it’s worth it if you watch stuff on your phone often.
