AdLock: Ad Blocker for Browser

Just watched latest Fortnine motorcycle vid whilst in the bath on YouTube adfree. I love this app and recently recommended it to my colleagues. As BI developers, we have many gigabytes of resources and learning materials on youtube. Being IT geeks, we also like our privacy and security. YouTube ads destroy both of those. If only we got a few quality ads every 10 to 15 mins we would not use an ad blocker but we get their unregulated pile of sheet over and between the quality content providers. So, go fun yourself YouTube! We got this app. Thank you so much Adlock devs.

AdLock has helped me love you tube again…without the annoying interruptions every minute or so that I was getting before. Along with WeQ4U …Ad blocker is one of my best app buys Iever… If you are like me and just want to spend your time watching content ….or talking to someone on the phone not sitting in a queue….both these apps will save your sanity …and your temper ! Thanks Devs 5 Stars! BUY IT !

Like I say just installed it, it doesn’t work. Even the instructions it gives you in how to block ads doesn’t work. It shows a non-existent set of options in the Safari/content blockers settings. Guys, when you fix this send me a message and I might consider reinstalling but otherwise don’t waste my time? Thanks

Unlike other so called blockers I’ve tried this one actually works. It does everything it promises. Great for playing Scrabble Go which has become unplayable because of unwanted Ads. Easy to use, simply toggle off when using Apps that offer in game rewards for watching Ads…toggle back on to play Scrabble without Ads..Perfect

Set up for Safari and ads still appear. The YouTube work around is frustrating and I wanted it to be able to share videos to my tv, which you clearly cannot do. The app promises to block ads, but as an example, going on Daily Mail news website, takes a while to load as the vpn kicks in, but then it disconnects and all the ads come on the page anyway. I was hoping to be able to use YouTube “normally” based on all the marketing for the app, but having to click on a video to watch to the app, then pause it and have to click several sun menus to share it to the app is annoying and a ball ache. Also, I play mobile games a lot, but this app has stopped all my games from working, so I will definitely have to delete. I was hoping to be able to just block all ads, play games seamlessly and browse the web/watch YouTube but this is not working as it advertised. I started the free trial to go with a years’ subscription but I won’t be proceeding from this trial this evening.

This app is good, it’s clean, fast and the instructions and explanation clearly says what to do to get ad free YouTube. You go into the app, share to Adblock then you not then only have no adds but you can Picture in Picture it and have a mini screen. I’m writing this while watching a video in the corner. People saying the app doesn’t work and I don’t want to use YouTube safari are just unreasonable because YouTube in safari does exactly the same as the app yet you can also have it in the background which wouldn’t happen with the app with an Adblocker. Im really impressed so far and will definitely upgrade to premium after I’ve seen what other things the app can do.
