I just want a simple way to put my project on the creative cloud and there is no way i found after searching online. Wouldn’t recommend one bit.
Review
I’m switching to a better video editor that doesn’t monitor my work
This app seems very feature rich and professional. But for me, there’s just too many bugs. I will try it again in a few months.
I downloaded the app and used it for a short 90 second video, I was satisfied with the results and then paid for a full year subscription. The next day I tried to edit a video and the RU app would not load. After several attempts to fix, I deleted the app and downloaded it again, it is working but wants me to pay for it again in order to save or post my videos. I contacted support several time but they have not answered. For this reason I have to give it a negative rating.
1. Can’t choose 60 fps export. 2. Need to pinch to stretch everytime adding video to editor which is so tiring! 3. Editing menu is not user friendly. 4. Can’t put favorite editing tool in the front and useless editing tools at the very back. 5. Can’t manually control video crop. 6. When cropping video, the cropped video is in black, i can’t see what i’m cropping! It should be transparent so we can see what we are cropping! That’s all for now.
Probably with an in-app purchase or an option that will drain usage of battery or/and do the same stuff for low battery mode. It keeps being laggy and I can’t even delete the videos I don’t need but also it keeps saying I have no signal even though I’m using data and WiFi. Whatever is going on over there I think someone might have a policy issue. I’d recommend listening to this message cuz it could help solve your problem (maybe) Thx, and have a wonderful day! 😉
This app is terrible. After I edited my video I learned that I can not import it and sync with Premiere Pro anymore. Now I have a half edited sequence that I spent hours on stuck in Rush. I tried to export the video and it won’t even save to my iPad. Complete waste of time and money.
As a full time professional editor, rush is supplementary to premiere pro, let’s allow it to shine for what it is. Here’s the scenario all of us are using Rush: you filmed some quick iPhone clips and want to stitch together a brief clip for instagram stories or do on. The only ability I need this app to have is to trim and cut up iPhone footage. Here’s the kicker. There’s forums aging more than 3 years old discussing how rush cannot support iPhone HDR footage. Yes we have the option to turn it off, but what about the times you’ve filmed in HDR? Consider those projects a loss? The solution is to add a graphic overlay and move it off screen in order to make premiere correctly interpret the HDR footage. That’s just crazy to me! Rush’s only purpose is to edit iPhone and android footage. Maybe let’s get that under control sometime.
