Latest update has broken the app. It is not possible to enter a custom WiFi SSID and password - just get a blank screen. Only resolution is to default the camera…. Also seems clicking for help from the Apple Store brings up a German website with no connection with BMW…..

Awful frustrating app. Simply refuses to connect to the camera, tried reinstalling, deleting files on the SD card, rebooting the camera nothing works.

Doesn’t work, wouldn’t bother.

When the password is not default app doesn’t open and the screen goes blank.

Can sometimes, not often get access to app only by sitting in car with engine on. Dealer no help

You may as well set fire to the £500 it cost for these absolutely rubbish dash cams .. never been so disappointed in my whole life !! Save your money and buy a cheap camera on Amazon, you won’t be as disappointed !! And you will save yourself a fortune and a headache

This camera is not worth the one star o gave it. I can never connect and even when I can it never catch’s the moments you need. Plenty of innocent passers by squirrels and other cars. The moment you get hit when you are away from the car it does not record. There is no function to produce video to evidence you have to use a third party app to do that. No thought whatsoever went into this camera apart from slap a Bmw badge on it and charge a fortune for it. I could buy a cheapo dash cam at Halfords and got better service. Buyer beware this is rubbish not worthy of the badge.

Now won’t connect at all to the app. Can’t reset Wi-Fi setting of anything either, so until a patch is done by BMW and the app developers, it’s currently and expensive windscreen ornament .!!!!!

it worked well when i first got it. then proceeded to freeze and miss key snippets of what i would need. now the rear camera works on live location but force closes the app when i want to view a recording. wouldnt recommend for the price i paid.
