Agile Brewing is an application written in Swift and SwiftUI, tailored made for the Apple platform. Handcrafted with an obsession over the details, Agile Brewing allows you to:
- Create "Bean Profiles"
- Create "Drink Templates" to speed up your brewing guidelines
- "Drink History" to easily display each drink and inform you on where you did well and maybe where you didn't do so well :)
- Pull shots of espresso or pour overs
With iOS 16, Agile Brewing utilizes almost every new feature exposed with SwiftUI 4.
Unlike other coffee applications, Agile Brewing has ZERO external dependencies, 3rd party plug-ins, or SDKs that may not respect your privacy.

Pretty good, but missing a few important dimensions for shot tracking
I like this app, & the design is nice & clean. One thing it’s missing which limits its usefulness is the ability to specify the grinder or brewer used for your drinks. Most coffee enthusiasts have different grinders for different preparations, & many use multiple brewers for different types of drinks. I’d love to be able to specify the grinder I used, the RPM etc. rather than just the grind setting. As it stands, there’s a gap in some of the knobs enthusiasts can use to track their brews. That said, the app is well made & the developer is still in the early stages, so I’m excited to see how it evolves!
Subscription
Not a fan of the subscription model for a glorified notepad app.
