AI Game Master - Dungeon RPG

But there is one really really big problem bugs lots and lots and lots of bugs because I’m playing and it just doesn’t give me the ability to do anything it’s not cause I’m dead it’s not because I’m out of tokens this doesn’t let me do my next thing please please fix this

This game is about as good as playing dnd with any ai, it also seems to be programmed to use more responses than needed since you can only use 5 messages a day before you need to start paying, the ai is about as good as any other so except it has less detail or options as the messages it responds with are short, all and all a waste of time. You’ll have more fun with co pilot and it’s free.

Really great app just what I was looking for and the story is immaculate definitely recommending

I am extremely impressed by the use of ChatGPT AI to create D&D role-playing adventures. I am so excited about the future of this game and similar AI run games like this. There are a few minor bugs. For example, the AI seems to forget sometimes that I have given a weapon to an ally. There could also be more emphasis on description. That said, I am tough to please when it comes to games. And I am quite pleased with this one.

Absolutely stellar app, wish i could do like a 20-30$ perchase to get unlimited coins but getting some for free is great. 👍🏻

It’s absolutely d&din your palm

It doesn’t seem to really be able to GM. It’s like you are both the GM & the player & it reiterates what you say & adds a little. It doesn’t usually say what happens as a result of what you do. Like say there is a magic device I need to activate to summon something. I say I walk up & activate it. The AI is like “filled with inspiration he activates the glowing magic device which is humming with power.’ I’m like okay but what happens? I say I search the body of the monster I killed. The AI just says the same thing but doesn’t say if I find anything. It also doesn’t update combat stuff like HP or if the enemy dies half the time. Enemies also don’t attack after the initial“an enemy appears & strikes” dialogue.. because of that you end up having to play both parts & waste a lot of tokens which is what you pay for to make the story continue. It’s a cool idea but it clearly isn’t ready. Looking forward to improvements though. It’s definitely a cool idea & the AI is good at understanding what you tell it.

I have tried other “AI story” apps before in the past, but they would always make some mistake and proceed the story in a way that didn’t make sense or follow what I had typed, but this app has been pretty spot on throughout my adventures in Neo-Tokyo. Gathering allies, stopping would-be assassins, and exploring an underground tech black market has got me captivated for more! Plus, typing in quotations to talk to my allies really brings the story alive for me. If it wasn’t for real life money problems, I would’ve certainly supported this!

Game is awesome

I do really like the app you’ve created. It’s simple to us but engaging. The AI does a good job of understanding the input, and it feels natural to engage with the adventures. This review would be 5 stars if the token situation were different. My one comment would be the ridiculous rate of generation for tokens. You get basically 5 AI messages every 4 hours, which is abysmally slow. I understand needing to monetize, so you need to make the premium features significantly better than the free features, but this is a little much.
