I really love this magazine & really REALLY love not having to store back issues. Airfix - how about digitizing your huge back catalog of magazines? I would pay for each and every one!

While new Airfix toolings and re-releases feature on a regular basis, the magazine also covers all of the major manufacturers, such as Hasegawa, Trumpeter, Tamiya, Italeri and Hobby Boss, to offer something for everyone.

-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.
-If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.
Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

Love it
A great magazine for any modeller.
Airfix Model World
I have used this app for about 6 months now and it is a great way to view and read the magazine for the following reasons: 1) Timely delivery - I get each new month's mag six to eight weeks ahead of its availability at my bookstore in Canada. 2) $$$ Price - my annual subscription is about one quarter the cost of the news stand price 3) Storage - my wife is always after me about my clutter of magazines. Now they are on my I-Pad 4) Details!!!! I was initially concerned with the format being limited in size to the I-Pad screen, but the resolution is so good you can zoom right in and look for brush strokes in the pictures of the models It does take a little adjustment for reading ........ I like to zoom in on the text as I read but have to zoom out to see the picture that is being discussed.With hard copy you just scan over to the pictures. I will definitely stay with the electronic format for this magazine. Cheers, Tim

Great mag and always full of good information along with some fantastic pictures.
Fantastically informative
If you have any interest in scale model kits then this is one of the mags you should be reading. Honest reviews of not only Airfix kits but those from other makers. Highly recommended.

I like the mag gives me a lot of what I want out of a model mag good info on techniques and products coming up on the market. Good pics and good source of subjects that of interest to us model geeks. As an app a bit disappointing it needs more of the wonderful media things that the platform provide, 360 views and multi media moving instruction for new kits that Airfix are using on there web site, like the video for the mosquito. Now that sort of stuff would impress.
